Finally posted review for Mac Cutlery 10 inch yanagi. Already gave it away, had it only 6 weeks, but it was a good knife. Just I'm getting a better one - Aritsugu Ao-Ko yanagi. Carbon steel at 65HRC babe :)

US supreme court issued ruling striking down Washington DC ban on handguns. The court's 5-4 ruling struck down the District of Columbia's 32 year old ban on handguns as incompatible with gun rights under the Second Amendment. Yeah babe. Gun owners won a major battle after years of endless and mindless bans on personal firearms! Gun bans just disarm law abiding citizens, criminals are getting their guns illegally anyway, how hard is that to understand?

Just ordered 2 new Japanese kitchen knives. Akifusa(Ikeda) Gyuto 240mm blade and Kobayashi Deba, 180mm blade. Gyuto is 64HRC and Deba 61-63HRC. Much harder than euro kitchen knives and Globals as well.

Got first two Tojiro knives
Part of kitchen cutlery upgrade program - just got two new Tojiro knives. 6in Chef's knife and 7in Granton edge santoku. Pix on the weekend. Beautiful blades. 63 layers of damascus, sharp as hell.
