Improved event handling and overall code size on knife steel database table. IE still sucks, their javascript engine to be precise. Dunno what else can I do to make it faster. Shrunk JS code size 50%. Given the table data size that's not gonna affect overall page loading times by significant margin, but still an improvement never the less.

From now, by default steel comparison graph will only show elements or element groups that have at least one non zero value in them. In other words, for a single steel scenario only non zero elements are shown, i.e. what this alloy actually contains, and for multiple steel comparison cases element will be shown in the graph only if at least one steel in the selection group contains it. You still can force the graph to display only certain elements regardless their content in the ally by selecting the desired set of the chemical elements in the graph settings dialog, which is invoked by clicking the More button.

Today's additions were: CSN 17042, X105CrC0Mo18-2, X40Cr13, X55CrMo14, AN-58, and more interesting Ravne23 PM steel and Ravne30 PM steel. Fixed data for most of the CSN steels. The source I used initially apparently listed average values instead of the value ranges.

Unbelievable, but fact :) I did manage to save some time with all the interactive knife steel chart related activities to finish up the preliminary review of this amazing knife. It's all there, save for actual usage data, which hasn't happened yet.

Although it took a little longer than planned, partly thanks to PO, both lights are back and the result is just wow! Especially the key-Lux. It puts out over 200 lumens and for the light of that size it's pretty amazing. Hyper lux Vgot an upgrade too, but it mainly affects run-time and the flood is more even thanks to a better LED. Well, thanks to Chris once again. As soon as I get some free time I'll update the review.

That's the latest and greatest steel from Crucible Metallurgy. Except no knifemaker I know has used it so far and it's not even listed on Crucible website. Still, I hope once they sort out their bankruptcy thingy this steel will become more available and popular.
