When unchecking the "with images" box the empty page was returned. Works correctly now, unckecked box returns text only information, omitting the images.

Major boredom to be honest. Fixed duplicate tags, few other minor internal HTML errors. More importantly, updated knife review index page. All the major review groups are accessible from there. Knife steel compositions chart is accessible form the home page. Well, that should make navigation easier. This site is quite huge already. Several thousand files...

Rearranged links by importance I guess. Removed not really informative stuff from the index page.

Actually this affects both, knife steel composition chart and steel composition comparison graph. The new code works as per following: a) for the chart - if A.k.a. in Notes flag is set, alternate names are combined with notes, and in addition each name has corresponding standard or maker name appended; b) in the steel composition comparison graph - if the graph is generated for the single alloy alternate names have standard or maker appended.

Note title was still showing proprietary name even though consolidation setting was turned on and standard name did exist. Fixed. Now, during consolidation if the standard name for the alloy exists it becomes the note title, otherwise alloy proprietary name is used.

Sort by and descending form parameters were not set according to the query of form settings. Fixed, settings are correct for both cases.

Yesterday, on Jan. 23 it's been 3 month since the interactive knife steel charts went live. Since then alloy count went form ~150 to 363 currently, got second version already and growing. ~24K hits in those 3 months. over 200K php and JS code.

Benchmade is planning to make a new knives out of Bohler-Uddeholm N680 steel. As such, it had to be added to the knife steel charts obviously :) Full name is Antinit N680. Interesting part is the presence of the Nitrogen, but for whatever reason Bohler doesn't specify the exact amount of it.

Using cookies obviously. Currently 4 settings from the search forms View Options group are saved when the Save button is clicked. Next time the chart is loaded it will restore the settings and use them, unless they were overridden by form or query parameters.

Fixed the bug with incorrect links in the Name column when using standard names. Instead of the alloy name it was linked to standard name, preventing graph from building when the link was clicked. However, the checkbox selected alloys were properly handled.
