Finally ordered ATI Radeon HD 5870 GPU and Waterblock for it. Considering that besides Command & Conquer series games I was only playing Stalker SOC with AMK mod, it was still ok to use, good old trusty Nvidia 8800Gt. After playing Stalker Call Of Pripyat, I've decided it was time to upgrade. ~450$-ish for the card, which btw, is out of stock in most of the online places, another 100$ for the waterblock. Can't say it is cheap, but that's the king of the hill for now. For a moment I thought about 5970, but a foot long card in my case, even if it is a large and spacious, is too much...

New one from Shinichi :) This time it's a custom boning knife. Based on Sabaki. Well, once it's here, the photos and review will follow. I got a present too, Shinichi did Togadashi style sharpening and installed octagonal handle too. Both became my Christmas present from him, which indeed is super cool.

Went through Carpenter's catalog, for now added all the Micromelt® tools steels. Any of those is a good candidate for the knife. At least there are similar ones used in knives very successfully. So, we have: HS-23, HS-30, HS-60, M48, M62, and Maxmet®.

Stalker CoP - Ready to go to Pripyat

Well, after few days of hard work, gathered full team, got good equipment and ammo and ready to go to Prypiat first time :) All in all, I think a lot of reviews of this game were pure BS, for putting it down. It's a clear improvement over Stalker CS and has a lot of improvements in AI, weaponry, story is still interesting and the zone is creepier than ever. If you liked Stalker SOCH then you're gonna enjoy this one.
