My second Spyderco knife ever, and the first Spyderco folder that I have ever actually liked. It's in my EDC list now. Well made knife, with super steel, good HT and all that. I am not too happy about it being a lockback, but that's something I can live with. As a utility folder it performs really well, albeit on more delicate work side, because of the tip. May be that's just me. Anyway, I don't really use folders for hard cutting, there's hundreds of fixed blades to choose from, why bother.

My second Spyderco, but it's the first one I like quite a bit. I wasn't very excited with Military, but Endura, with full flat grind and ZDp-189 steel looks mucho more attractive to me. I mean purely how it looks and feels, and of course good steel at 64HRC does add to interest :) Anyway, Spydercos are very specific things in general, mostly love/hate stuff, and I can't say I was in the love camp before, and I'm not a worshiper either, but at least I started finding Spidies I like, that's a good start :)

One more Shun knife reviewed, classic paring knife, second one in my experience. All in all, a good kitchen knife for paring jobs. I liked it better then the other, Shun classic paring knife DM0700. The review is quite detailed, and this time the knife was pretty much brand new, sharpening wasn't really necessary. Read on for the details.

GOST 85 steel is an equivalent of the AISI 1085 steel, except its specification allows for small amounts of the Cr, Ni, and Cu, later is pretty common in a lot of Russian steels.

Had it for awhile, nice knife, one of the latest super alloys out there - Bohler-Uddeholm M390 steel. Super or not, the knife is really well made and I'd say one of the best from all Benchmade 800 series I have ever seen or handled. Carbon fiber handles, ergonomic handle, nice bladewith dual thumbsutd. Ireally like it. Details in the review, including more photos and technical specs.

Next version is up with tons of updates, improvements and most importantly, with synchronization with central database. Details in the application page. Unfortunately, I had to change app id, so downloading the new version won't replace the old one, you need to remove the old app manually, sorry. I've lost all the good ratings on the app in the process too :(

Even though I was planning to publish android steel chart 2.0 two weeks ago, I've decided to spend more time testing, and coding few extra improvements. As of today, all coding is done, and tomorrow morning I'll run few more tests, package the whole thing and upload to the market. Long time, but I think the improvements were worth it. At least, I find the app more robust and easier to use. Plus the synchronixzation is working :)

All the major features and improvements are coded. The only thing left is the incovation of the synchronizator on schedule. it works for manual invocation, now all that's left to invoke it automatically, when the schedule kicks in. I figure that's about an hour or so, tomorrow. Then, a day or two of testing, for all sorts of failure situations and the release is ready. Already have some improvement ideas, but I don't want to postpone release any longer.
